At the moment, the German covid rules mandate the use of the EU-wide Digital Covid Certificate (DCC), the familiar QR code that is used in all EU countries, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. This certificate indicates vaccination, recovery or a recent negative PCR test.

In order to create the best experience at ERUS-DRUS21 (including capacity and safety) delegates, staff and faculty must present their DCC for entry to the venue. Travelers from outside of the EU will need to arrange their Digital Covid Certificate based on their own vaccination details. Please see this page by the German Foreign Ministry about travelling to Germany and the various requirements.

Inside the venue, a medical mask must be worn whenever a delegate is not seated or eating. Opportunities for sanitizing hands will be available throughout the venue and delegates will be separated from staff at counters by acrylic panels. Details about these in-venue arrangements might still change and will be shared closer to the date of the meeting.

This page was updated with the latest safety guidelines at ERUS-DRUS21 on 5 November, 2021. New measures are continually announced by the local government.
